Intergenerational Forum

The Intergenerational Forum was established in January 2010, with the aim of addressing anti-social behaviour and perceived fear of crime, amongst our older and younger population.

We had nine older people working with nine younger people on a weekly basis, and successfully made a DVD and accompanying workbook, which is a valuable resource for schools and various community groups. The highlight of this project was being asked to the showcase event at the University of Ulster in York Street for the European Day of Solidarity between the Generations.
