For parents the very thought of their child getting involved with drugs is a very frightening prospect. The facts tell us that the average age of initiation into alcohol use is 11 years old and that almost 50% of young people ever experiment with drugs. Drugs are considered to be more prevalent in N. Ireland than ever before. On the positive side, 50% of young people never experiment with drugs.
